My name is Tony (Antonio) Ferrante. I was born to a wonderful Italian couple, Carmine and Giovina Ferrante, in Belgium on May 23, 1955. My parents had migrated there after the war. Both were devout Catholics, and they introduced me to God in their own way. We returned to Italy three years later, where we lived for ten years before moving to Canada in 1968.
Growing up, my parents’ faith played a pivotal role in my life, and through their example, God began to draw me closer to His Son, Jesus. Today, I proudly identify as a Canadian Italian. I cherish my heritage and am deeply grateful for the privilege of being a Canadian citizen.
On December 6, 1976, at 8:30 pm, by God’s incredible grace, I encountered Jesus in a personal way and realized He is the way, the truth, and the life. That moment changed my life forever. I am eternally grateful for His love and mercy, and I am passionate about sharing His message with others so they, too, can come to know Him—both now and for eternity. This is the heart behind the 5000 Willing Harvesters movement.
